North Carolina laws make it simple and easy to get married. A marriage license can be obtained at any Register of Deeds office in North Carolina. There is no waiting period and no blood tests are required so you can use your license that day if you want. It is good for 60 days from the date of issue and can be used at any location in North Carolina. Both parties must be present and must show valid photo identification cards and proof of social security numbers when applying for a license. If either person has been divorced, the divorce decree is required as well. Once married, your officiant is responsible for getting your marriage license to the proper place.

Contracting with Coastal Events It is important to book your event date as early as possible. Dates are limited to allow for personal attention and service to each client. Coastal Events requires a contract, accompanied by a deposit, to reserve a date. Once a date is reserved, no other events will be booked for that day.
